The Word - Jan. 06, 2007
- (From the Archives)
"The rain and the snow come down from the heavens and stay
on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed
for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my Word. I send it
out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it
will prosper everywhere I send it." (Isaiah
55:10-11)
NLT.
The Lord is truly pleased when His children purpose to seek Him
and to put His Word first at the start of each day. As a result, He is able to
transform and renew our minds (Romans
12:1,2). God has promised that His Word will never return void but will
always accomplish that which He sent it to do. Because of this promise from
God, we believe Faith Thoughts will be a blessing to you everyday throughout
this year and the years to come.
(The Word is a ministry of Pastor John Fuller. These thoughts
are not meant to be a comprehensive study of the doctrines they address. They
are taken from past sermons of Pastor Fuller when he was a senior pastor and
also from gleanings gathered through the years. If you enjoy these daily
devotions, let me know.)
